THE ROSES OF THE YEAR 2022/23

Torkil Oxe is an architect, designer and artist. And he loves taking photographs of the environment, nature, urban furnishings and various architectures. He sent us these pictures of roses taken at the Kings Garden in Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen, the city where he lives. The royal gardens are home to a beautiful rose garden, with different varieties of roses.

As announced, the Rose of the Year 2022/23 initiative was dedicated to the memory of Queen Elizabeth II, a great admirer of roses. The official hymn is also dedicated to the late sovereign, the “Rose Theme”, composed by the English singer and musician Jeanie Barton and performed by the I.C. “Cassano-De Renzio” of Bitonto (Bari, Italy).
