These are all beautiful !!! *Cynthia
thank you so much! have a great weekend!
Congratulations Roberto, love your work.
Thank you so much Lyn!
Hi Roberto,
Do you ever consider making paintings based on these collages? They seem big although they are fairly small–I think they have potential lurking in them!
Good job!
Thank you James for your kind message! Nice question, but I’m sorry, I’m not a painter… I like to re-produce and re-build what reality offers me through real images, real materials, real things… This is my project.
But I’m glad if someone can do it… During this year my works were reproduced with temperas by a Group of kids affected by autism. And the experience was really great. We have a nice exhibition of these works just in these days… and I’m gonna tell something very soon on this blog.
Beautiful works!
As a painter I find your works inspiring.
Congratulations and greetings.

PS
I saw two images of Marko Rupnik’s mosaics, I know him from student times, quite long time ago.
Thank you so much Matej for your kind comment! As you know, I’m not a painter ( I only find and re-produce what I see in decomposed and torn materials…). That’s the reason why I appreciate your words, which come from a painter! Yes, I love Rupnik’s mosaics and it’s very nice to know that you shared with him student times. I never met him. I hope to do it one day. I’ll have a look to your website. Thanks again and my kindest regards. Roberto
Thank you too Roberto for your quick reply!
Now we are in contact also by facebook.
My email: matej.metlikovic@gmail.com
PS
I was not a student colleague with Rupnik – he studied in Rome, I studied in Ljubljana. In 1981 I exhibited together with him in Ljubljana (exibition of three young painters), in 1984 I visited him in Rome where he was still studiing painting… later we didn’t have much contacts.
Thank you Matej for your precious reply! You gave me great news! I’m glad for this! And how small the world is… I saw your beautiful paintings on the website. I love them. They are full of colors and very powerful. You have the gift of a great artistic strenght. My congratulations! Lot of greetings. I also subscribed your channel at YouTube.
Thank you Roberto, I was touched by your affirmative words about my art! The world is really small, just today I had a visit of Italian artist Raul Gubert in my studio; we have met by youtube! We stay in contact. Friendly greetings, sincerely!
Yes Matej. Let’s keep in touch! Have a nice evening!
Thanks, nice evening to you too!
Roberto,
Such beautiful work! I’ve been working in a similar vein with stapled junk mail. Please check out my website at philipabowersart.com.
I enjoyed reading thru the above comments as a sculptor of scrap metal and collages of paper and fabrics and what not.. !!!!! I don’t have much on my Facebook or website now but will add soon if I find my grandson available to help me !!!!!!!! Stay in touch. Samia
Thank you so much Samia for your kind message! Yes, let’s stay in touch. Have a great week!
Love your art. Collages were my favorite in art class, I am incapable of drawing beyond a 5 year-old level ;(
You are an alchemist, transforming torn posters, discarded paper, etc, into amazing art. Bravo!!
Thank you so much! So very kind of you! Yes, I think in decomposing matters as papers, plastics, irons and so on, we may find incredible dimensions of life and art. Many thanks for your kind support.
