LACER/ACTIONS ON CANVASES: I’VE UPDATED MY PHOTOGALLERY

ROBERTO ALBORGHETTI – LACER/ACTIONS: CANVASES – UPDATED PHOTOGALLERY

Roberto Alborghetti ‘s LaceR/Actions is a multidisciplinary project and research about the apparent chaos of ripped and decomposed posters and urban/street signs.

Transferred on canvas, reproduced on lithographs or textiles (as pure silk), scanned in videoclips  or “re-constructed” on collages, the details of torn posters give new life to paper lacerations and decomposition, as you may see in the updated photogallery dedicated to canvases. Roberto Alborghetti has been collected so far more than 40.000 images.

In these months 32 canvases are desplayed at Roberto Alborghetti Exhibition (“Colors of an Apocalypse: An Intrigue for the Eyes and Mind from the Decomposed Publicity Posters”) taking place at the enchanting Aldobrandesca Fortress (XIII Century) in Tuscany (Piancastagnaio, Siena, Italy); the show has been extended till January 15, 2013.

  1. Reblogged this on Living with Mental Illness and commented:
Roberto Alborghetti is a man of unlimited imagination and spirit. A photog / journalist by trade, Roberto found inspiriation with his camera when capturing the art of organic decay in urban cities throughout Europeon a macro scale. The subtle, organic beauty of industrial environments makes for rich textures, colors, and materials to frame. None of work is retouched by hand or with computer programs, and it is the raw beauty of these photos that Roberto’s Lacer/Actions projecet wants to demonstrate.

I invite you to view the pictures via WordPress, today, and learn more about Roberto’s highly successful, ongoing exhibition at the Aldobrandesca Fortress in Tuscany (Piancastagnaio, Sienna), Italy.
