Now you understand why the Lego phenomenon, the famous brick game, was born in Denmark 90 years ago. Ole Kirk Kristiansen opened his business in 1932 in the city of Billund. Initially, being a master carpenter, he was involved in the construction of stools, ironing boards, ladders and wooden toys. Then, the leap into the “construction” enterprise that has fascinated all generations. And all these red bricks from Copenhagen certainly served as a source of inspiration.
