Today is World Book Day. And here’s a nice and awaited news. Knowing how to communicate is an important issue. Even for those who “are” on social media. And for school (and not only). This new book of mine is a sort of manual for “communicating” and comes from many meetings that I conduct on an ongoing basis with many teachers and students, throughout Italy, also on the issues of school journalism, a reality for which I held training courses and coordinated multiple initiatives and activities.
The title “Ci damo una testata” is, in the Italian language, a play on words. The subtitle is “How to communicate at school: from the newspaper to the blog”, published by Funtasy Editrice for the “Di-tattica” series. This new book is a practical guide, for teachers and students, and more: we would also say for those who work in the world of media and communication, including social media. The text – which supports training and refresher courses on the subject of media education at school – also intends to accompany educational initiatives and projects on the school newspaper and on communication.
