BEST WISHES FOR CHRISTMAS AND THE NEW YEAR!
This video is part of “LaceR/Actions”, a multidisciplinary project concerning macrophotography and close-up photography of decomposed and torn publicity posters, natural cracks and scratches, urban and industrial tokens. Impressed by photo camera and transferred on canvases, reproduced on lithographic prints or textiles, re-built on collages or scanned in video clips, the details of natural unraveling take on surprising palettes of shapes and colors. It’s the aesthetics of decomposition, “that beauty zone where there is an optimal mix of order and disorder” (so Andreas Keller said about Roberto Alborghetti’s project).
