As announced, the Rose of the Year 2022/23 initiative was dedicated to the memory of Queen Elizabeth II, a great admirer of roses. The official hymn is also dedicated to the late sovereign, the “Rose Theme”, composed by the English singer and musician Jeanie Barton and performed by the I.C. “Cassano-De Renzio” of Bitonto (Bari, Italy).
The initiative aims to invite people of all ages to express their creativity and their love for the beauty of nature, especially for the rose, the “queen of flowers”.
