In the end,
I knew not whether
life occurred
or
dissipated
amidst plumes of steam
rising,
collapsing,
re-forming light and dark
as
crystalline mists
dissolved all memory
of
horizons.

“PICTURES AND THERAPY”
This lithographic print is owned by fellow blogger and artist Meredith Deerheart (Indiana, USA) who wrote these beautiful verses (she also suggested the image title). Meredith sent me also this comment:
The picture seems to speak about the mysteries of birth, death, and transformation. Many of your pieces seem to speak of these things. I meditated on these things while my leg held me down. I was quite injured for some time, but my mind held many things to ask you, and to share with you… so I wrote and still write. It is like your pictures tell many stories I know about, but cannot speak of directly. People understand poetry and verse… they see their own emotions reflected, and do not demand factual evidence to refute and mock. They see, they feel, they know reality in abstract representation. It made a good deal of sense to speak with your pictures. So yes, your pictures are therapeutic–they do not lie. They are very insightful.
