PEFC Italia presents the Italian winners of the photo contest “Snap the forest PEFC 2021” dedicated to forests. Nothing more current, given that in various areas the forests are under attack by fires, often arson, and therefore at the center of criminal actions.

Telling, with the evocative power of images, the beauty of our forest heritage and the importance of trees in the fight against climate change: this is the goal of the photo contest Scatta il bosco PEFC 2021 organized by PEFC Italia (Program for Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes), the promoter of the correct and sustainable management of forest heritage, which today announces the national winners.
The contest, which took place between 22 April and 5 June, saw the participation of hundreds of photographers – professional and amateur – who posted their shots on Instagram accompanied by the hashtag # scattailboscoPEFC21.

“The shots received in recent months tell on the one hand a difficult year that was made more bearable precisely by the beauty of the nature that surrounds us, on the other hand the need for people to live more and more in contact with nature, able to offer unmissable opportunities for moments of recreation and relaxation, never more so indispensable and precious than now ”, explains Eleonora Mariano, head of the Projects Office of PEFC Italy.

Winning the competition this year is Paola Toniutti, with her photo “Exciting Encounters” starring a roe deer, taken in a poplar grove in Codroipo, in the province of Udine. The photographer is rewarded with a weekend for two at the Tenuta di Paganico, in the Grosseto Maremma. In second place Simone Spina, for the shot “Enchanted forest” made in a beech forest in Lioni, in the province of Avellino, which is assigned a PEFC-certified solid wood table, handcrafted by the Aschieri De Pietri company in Casalmaggiore (Cr).

The larch forest of Lake Federa in Cortina d’Ampezzo (Bl) is instead the protagonist of the photo “Autumn at Lake Federa” by Sonia Fantini who won the bronze medal and a kit consisting of a notebook, diary and many other stationery items PEFC certified.

PEFC Italia presenta i vincitori italiani del concorso fotografico “Scatta il bosco PEFC 2021” dedicato alle foreste. Niente di più attuale, visto che in diverse zone le foreste sono sotto attacco da parte di incendi, spesso dolosi, e dunque al centro di azioni criminali.

Raccontare, con la potenza evocativa delle immagini, la bellezza del nostro patrimonio forestale e l’importanza degli alberi nella lotta al cambiamento climatico: questo l’obiettivo del concorso fotografico Scatta il bosco PEFC 2021 organizzato da PEFC Italia (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes), l’ente promotore della corretta e sostenibile gestione del patrimonio forestale, che annuncia oggi i vincitori nazionali.
Il concorso, che si è svolto tra il 22 aprile e il 5 giugno, ha visto la partecipazione di centinaia di fotografi – professionisti e amatoriali – che hanno pubblicato i propri scatti su Instagram accompagnati dall’hashtag #scattailboscoPEFC21.

“Gli scatti ricevuti in questi mesi raccontano da una parte un anno difficile che è stato reso più sopportabile proprio dalla bellezza della natura che ci circonda, dall’altra la necessità per le persone di vivere sempre più a contatto con la natura, in grado di offrire occasioni imperdibili per momenti ricreativi e di relax, mai come ora davvero indispensabili e preziosi”, spiega Eleonora Mariano, responsabile Ufficio Progetti del PEFC Italia.

A vincere il concorso quest’anno è Paola Toniutti, con la sua foto “Incontri emozionanti” con protagonista un capriolo, scattata in un pioppeto a Codroipo, in provincia di Udine. La fotografa viene premiata con unun week-end per due persone presso la Tenuta di Paganico, nella maremma grossetana. Al secondo posto Simone Spina, per lo scatto “Bosco incantato” realizzato in una faggeta a Lioni, in provincia di Avellino, cui viene assegnato un tavolo di legno massello certificato PEFC, realizzato artigianalmente dalla ditta Aschieri De Pietri di Casalmaggiore (Cr).

Il lariceto del Lago Federa a Cortina d’Ampezzo (Bl) è invece protagonista della foto “Autunno al Lago di Federa” di Sonia Fantini che si aggiudica la medaglia di bronzo ed un kit composto da un taccuino, agenda e tanti altri oggetti di cartoleria certificati PEFC.
