We have seen, in a previous post, that Pantone has chosen the yellow color – also in combination with gray – as the color of the year 2021. During my chromatic research of the “Lacer / actions” project I encountered several situations in which yellow was predominant in the color palette. Both as regards the decomposed advertising posters and for the cracks, corrosion and scratches of the urban and industrial environment, the presence of yellow is very strong and always manages to give life to natural and spontaneous images which, for me, are very interesting and of singular effect. As in the case of the images shown in this video, relating to an agricultural machine that I photographed in the Dauni Mountains, in Puglia, Italy.

ABOUT THE VIDEO Fifteen abstract photos from my “Lacer/actions” project tell us the colors of Bovino, on the Dauni Mountains, one of the most beautiful villages of Italy. Abstraction tells the landscapes and the amazing yellow of the brooms on the hills… All the images are macro-shooting of an agricultural machine seen at Salecchia Farm. Abbiamo visto, in un precedente post, che Pantone ha scelto il colore giallo – anche in abbinamento con il grigio – come la tinta dell’anno 2021. Nel corso della mia ricerca cromatica del progetto “Lacer/actions” ho incontrato diverse situazioni in cui il giallo era preponderante nella tavolozza dei colori. Sia per quanto riguarda i manifesti pubblicitari decomposti e sia per le crepe, le corrosioni e i graffi dell’ambiente urbano ed industriale, la presenza del giallo è molto forte e riesce sempre a dare vita a immagini naturali e spontanee che, per me, sono molto interessanti e di singolare effetto. Come nel caso delle immagini mostrate in questo video, relative ad una macchina agricola che ho fotografato sui Monti Dauni, in Puglia, Italia.
