CONTEMPORARY ART ON CITIES WALLS / STREET MACRO PHOTOS FROM A WASTE CONTAINER

THE HIDDEN WORLD is a video I created for my Lacer/actions project and research about torn and decomposed publicity posters, natural cracks and scratches, industrial and urban decompositions. Yes, free contemporary artworks are on the cities walls (and we usually do not see them). All the pics presented in the video are not paintings, but…simple macro photos of the reality around us. This is street macro photography. The images of the video were taken from a waste container in Bitonto (Apulia, Italy).

    1. Thank you Marysia for your comment! The world of the decomposition of elements always reveals incredible scenaries and landscapes. And that waste container in Bitonto (Apulia) was really incredible, like the Ghost Bus! Ciao! Have a nice day!

  1. Simply wonderful!
Great images and really interesting transition between the shots. Once again I like the last shot of the waste container giving a context for the photographs. A lovely soundtrack too which helped draw me in and worked really well with the visuals.
I found that some of the images reminded me of the structure and colours of butterfly wings 🙂
    Best wishes

    1. Thank you so much dear MR C for your beautiful comment! I love these images! I think they tell the deep and wonderful world of the decomposition. I took lot of pics around that waste container. And I remember that people were quite curious (and amused) about what I was doing… Have a nice day!
