Today in Italy is the Cat’s Day! This anniversary is remembered differently in the various countries of the world (in Japan, for example, it is celebrated on 22 February). Waiting for someone to reform and harmonize the dates, choosing a single day for the whole planet, here is a photo gallery dedicated to my cat Sasha, depicted in different ways and situations. Yes, the many ways of being Sasha! And it is also nice to quote some famous phrases dedicated to the mysterious, enigmatic, opportunist, sensitive and playful cat, and for these reasons often very similar to human beings.
- “Time spent with cats is never wasted.” – Sigmund Freud
- “Cats rule the world.” – Jim Davis
- “Like all pure creatures, cats are practical.” – William S. Burroughs
- “Cats will outsmart dogs every time.” – John Grogan
- “Cats choose us; we don’t own them.” – Kristin Cast
- “There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats.” – Albert Schweitzer
- “One cat just leads to another.” – Ernest Hemingway
- “I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul.” – Jean Cocteau
