Perhaps in reaction to this sad and particular moment that the world is going through. As if to say: after the thorns (the pandemic), here are the roses!

We have seen in previous posts how the rose flower can offer different possibilities for fun and unique chromatic results in photo shooting. In this photogallery here are some macro photographs that highlight how the transparency of the ambient light can create shades.
The petals, in their lightness and fragility, act as an extraordinary filter that manages and coordinates the brightness of the exterior. It is a spectacle of colors for the eyes and the mind. The macro images produce and induce color effects that further enhance the beauty and peculiarity of a flower that has always enchanted poets, writers and … photographers.
So, this is an idea: considering the great interest in this photographic subject, together with my colleague blogger Marysia Zipser (ACT Group), we thought of proclaiming 2020 as the Year of the Roses. Yes, perhaps in reaction to this sad and particular moment that the world is going through. As if to say: after the thorns, here are the roses!
