Juliet Campbell is Member of British Parliament for Broxtowe. She spoke at the special evening for The Ghost Bus, promoted by Art Culture Tourism – International and Marysia Zipser in Beeston, Nottingham. At the end of the event, she spoke and highlighted several aspects of my Visual Art Project. She spoke with great enthusiasm and revealed that she was deeply impressed by the expressive language and the iconographic and musical content of the videos I proposed (the focus on details, showing things that are not normally seen).

She used adjectives like “fascinating, fantastic, phenomenal.” She was really impressed by the macrophotos I took around the old and rusty bus in the Barton Garage and along Beeston streets. Juliet Campbell emphasized how these initiatives help build bridges between cultures and countries, fostering growth and cooperation, and helping young people see reality with their own eyes, not just through digital devices. I thank Ms. Campbell for participating in the event. The MP is very active in the local area (just take a look at her Facebook profile) and is at the forefront of issues concerning social issues, education, the environment, culture, and the relationship with the third sector. I was deeply impressed by her interest in digital education for young people.

In recent weeks, she has collected hundreds of opinions from families on the national bill to limit the age of access to social media. She is a very active, attentive, and engaged woman, who views her political role as a service to the community. Juliet Campbell MP è parlamentare eletta a Londra per Broxtowe. È intervenuta alla serata speciale per The Ghost Bus promossa da Art Culture Tourism – International e Marysia Zipser a Beeston Nottingham. Al termine dell’evento ha preso la parola e ha sottolineato alcuni aspetti del mio Progetto di arte visuale. Ha parlato con molto entusiasmo ed ha rivelato di essere rimasta molto colpita dal linguaggio espressivo e dai contenuti iconografici e musicali dei videoclip che ho proposto (il focus sui dettagli, far vedere cose che normalmente non sono viste). Ha usato aggettivi come “affascinante, fantastico , fenomenale”.

Ha poi sottolineato come queste iniziative contribuiscano a creare ponti tra culture e Paesi, favorendo crescita e cooperazione, aiutando i giovanissimi a vedere e percepire le cose e la realtà con i propri occhi, senza soccombere ai dispositivi digitali. Ringrazio la signora Campbell per la partecipazione all’evento. La parlamentare è molto attiva sul territorio (basta dare un’occhiata al suo profilo Facebook) ed è in prima linea nelle questioni che riguardano il sociale, l’educazione, l’ambiente, la cultura e il rapporto con il terzo settore.

Mi ha molto colpito il suo interesse per la formazione digitale dei più giovani. In queste settimane ha raccolto centinaia di pareri da parte delle famiglie sulla proposta di legge nazionale per porre un limite all’età di accesso ai social. Insomma, una donna molto attiva, attenta e partecipe, che vive il proprio ruolo politico come servizio alla comunità.
