When a palace leaves you speechless. A few days ago the City of Cirié (Turin, Italy) opened the doors of the Council Room of the magnificent Palazzo d’Oria to host a meeting dedicated to my book “Eating with Pope Francis”, published by Mondadori. It was a special event. Against the backdrop of an architectural complex of significant visual impact and great beauty, the message of a Pope who considers food and nutrition as a vehicle and engine for human growth was placed at the center of the attention of the audience through the pages of the book. A heartfelt thank you to those who organized all this: the mayor Loredana Devietti, the vice mayor Aldo Buratto, the councilor Barbara Re, the councilor delegated to Culture Domenica Calza. Quando un palazzo lascia a bocca aperta. Ieri sera la Città Di Cirié (Torino) ha aperto le porte della Sala Consiliare del magnifico Palazzo d’Oria per ospitare un incontro dedicato al mio libro “A tavola con Papa Francesco”, Mondadori. È stato un evento particolare. Sullo sfondo di un complesso architettonico di rilevante impatto visivo e di grande bellezza, è stato messo al centro – attraverso le pagine di un libro – il messaggio di un Papa che considera il cibo e l’alimentazione un veicolo e un motore per la crescita umana, sociale e spirituale dell’umanità. Un vivissimo grazie a chi ha organizzato tutto ciò: il sindaco Loredana Devietti, il vice sindaco Aldo Buratto, l’assessore Barbara Re, il consigliere delegato alla Cultura Domenica Calza.
