They look like skies. They look like clouds. They look like sea waves. And they look like hand painted works from the creativity of an impressionist or abstract painter. Instead … In this video I have collected some macro-photographs of the surface of a blue bench, located outside along the sidewalk of the Roma Settebagni station.

Time and atmospheric agents have corroded the paint, which now appears to the eyes in a series of scenes that are reminiscent of skies, clouds, sea waters or anything else that our mind can suggest. The macro-photographs of the video clip are also part of the archive of over 150,000 images that I have collected around the world for my “Lacer / actions” project. Because we may see things that we don’t even imagine.

Sembrano cieli. Sembrano nuvole. Sembrano onde marine. E sembrano dipinti a mano, opere dalla creatività di un pittore impressionista o astrattista. Invece… In questo video ho raccolto alcune macrofotografie della superficie di una panchina blu, collocata all’esterno lungo il marciapiede della stazione di Roma Settebagni. Il tempo e gli agenti atmosferici hanno corroso la vernice, che ora appare agli occhi in una serie di scene che appunto ricordano cieli, nuvole, acque marine o qualsiasi altra cosa che la nostra mente può suggerire. Anche le macrofotografie del videclip fanno parte dell’archivio di oltre 150.000 immagini che ho raccolto in giro per il mondo per il mio progetto “Lacer/actions”. Perchè possiamo vedere cose che nemmeno immaginiamo.
