Tonight the official final video of the Year of Roses 2021, the great photographic initiative promoted by ACT Group (UK) and OKAY !, will be screened in Beeston Light Night, in the land of Robin Hood, Nottingham. The video, which presents the best 60 images, will be screened in the solemn spaces of the Parish Church in Beeston (5.30 pm and 10 pm).

It will be another opportunity to say “thank you” to all those who participated in the initiative. As is known, in the last year, all the images of the roses (and their stories) sent to the organization were presented online on social media from April to September 30. After registration closed, the judges selected 60 of the best images received from ACT UK and OKAY! Italy, promoters of the initiative.

The Beeston event gives us the opportunity to review the video clip of the 60 best photos accompanied by the voice of Jeanie Burton, who created, composed and performed the wonderful soundtrack of this initiative. The rose is a sign of hope for the future. Because after the thorns, we need the roses.
