During a visit to Vietri, the Amalfi Coast town (Italy) famous for its wonderful ceramics, my eyes have been attracted by an unusual and spectacular corrosion. The surface of a fountain, not far from the beach, showed an exceptional cracking. The blue ceramic, of which the structure was made, had undergone a process of deterioration caused by weather, moisture, salt and limestone. So, for my “Lacer/actions” project I produced several shots at the decomposed parts of the ceramic fountain that now, even through its alteration of colors and materials, does not hide colors and designs of great impact . And this video shows them… Soundtrack: “Ice of Phoenix” by Audiomachine.

Great video and the drama of the music made me smile 🙂
Have a great day.
Stay safe and best wishes
Mr C
Thank you so much Mr C! Decomposed ceramics were an interesting subject while I was in one of the Italian cities celebrated for ceramics. Have a nice days and hope that all is ok in your city about the pandemic. Ciao
