This artwork titled “There is some chaos, but with a focal point” (“C’è del caos ma con un punto focale”) – abstract photo on canvas (42 x 62) I “captured” in Milan during a cloudy day on December 2010 – is displayed since April 2013 at the Permanent Collection of Contemporary Art, in Mercatello S/M, Pesaro Urbino, Marche (Italy). Now the composition and its concept were chosen as the official name of a day (August 10) of events about dance, music and visual arts promoted by InDialogo. Such an honour for me!
Two years ago I was so proud to donate my “Chaos” work to the Permanent Collection in Marche accepting the invitation from the curator, artist and sculptor Pasquale Martini, who had the way to view some of my abstract works focusing his attention on an image that, according to Martini, depicts and interprets the sense of my “Lacer/actions” project-research about decomposed publicity posters, natural cracks and scratches, urban and industrial matters. I’m so glad to be part of this Permanent Collection gathering pieces from national and international artists who are developing new forms and expressions in modern art.
