THANKS MARINA CHETNER!
Marina Chetner at http://marinachetner.com/ has honored my Blog by nominating it for the Versatile Blogger Award. I thank Marina so much, for her appreciation and for her kindness! I knew Marina on WordPress and through her precious posts about travels, art, architecture and urban landscapes where today are hidden creativity signs. She shared my “Lacer/actions” artworks (torn posters images) and supporting my ideas and projects.
She wrote for my nomination: “For artistic inspiration from Italia, Roberto Alborghetti is always as interesting read. Roberto’s torn poster art inspired silk scarves are going to be the next big fashion trend”. Thanks again Marina, for having built this creativity bridge between New York and Italy!
THE RULES
These are the rules for the Versatile Blog Awards:
1 – Nominate 15 fellow bloggers.
2 – Inform the bloggers of their nomination.
3 – Share 7 random things about yourself.
4- Thank the blogger who nominated you.
5 – Add the Versatile Blog Award picture on your blog post.
SEVEN RANDOM THINGS
1 – I love to be inspired by reality or to associate it to my artworks. In fact, my art is based on realistic images and on what I see on ads billboards and on city walls.
2 – The physics principles say that in nature nothing is created, nothing is destroyed. “Nothing is created” because each invented reality comes from a pre-existing fact; and “nothing is destroyed” because a reality defined as “destroyed” or “consumed” it is actually “re-created” or converted in a whole new identity. That’s the life metaphor. That’s my art language too.
3 – Feelings, for me, have colors. I agree with the writer Wolfgang Goethe when he says that human beings “ feel great pleasure in seeing the colors, they need colors just as the light.” I think that colors tell stories, suggest moods, rise emotions, light up sensorial perception (synàisthesis).
4 – I like admiring lacerated posters. There remain only paper shreds, images traces on which you can’t read anything, meaningless residues to be thrown in the incinerator… The paper is ripped, cut, pierced. It absorbs, receives and turns. The de-composition and de-structuring stages are forced by dust, rain, traffic, wind, sunbeams… The whole city seems to act and to press on ripped paper, which twists and alters, as an urban mutation.
5 – Maybe it’s difficult to think that behind faded and torn posters there may still be “something” to be seen or discovered. But in torn ads is recognizable the torn city, the “unwrapped ”city , self-destroying in the messages, self-regenerating and self-reproducing in new visual elements, often contradictory, dissonant, discordant, but still surprisingly vital.
6 – I begun my art activity as a game, pushed by friends who were struck by my images, always mistaken for paintings… Apart from the happyness to be part of shows, to be on radio and tv, to have a good press coverage, to collect views and contacts, I think that the most important achievement is the energy to keep always open wide my perception doors, establishin’ relationships with people who desire share my project development.
7 – It’s a wonderful motivation to realize how boundless is the field where we may work for a culture in which art (and heart) and creativity make our life and world better.

Thanks again to Marina Chetner for my nomination at Versatile Blogger Award (I like to mention her explanation of “versatile” term according to The Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary: “1: changing or fluctuating readily : variable <a versatile disposition> 2: embracing a variety of subjects, fields, or skills; also: turning with ease from one thing to another…”)
