EYES ON THE SPONTANEOUS ART ALONG THE STREETS OF LONDON: MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY #1 (VIDEO)

“Lacerations of London”:  it’s a video I created for my Lacer/actions project and research about torn and decomposed publicity posters, natural cracks and scratches, industrial and urban decompositions. Yes, free contemporary artworks are on the cities walls (and we usually do not see them).

In recent months, I have had the opportunity to return to London, a city where I have always found very interesting photographic elements. London also fascinates in the “normality” of its less flashy things, such as torn advertising posters, peeling walls, cracks and corrosion caused by time and bad weather (rain, wind, sun).

All the pics presented in the video are not paintings, but…simple photos and macro photos of the reality around us. This is also street photography!

FRAME FROM THE VIDEO – By Roberto Alborghetti
