“And I saw a new sky and a new earth.” This is a “short film” of 13 minutes. A singular journey through some passages (in Italian) from the Apocalypse of John, re-read and commented in the light of the images of the “Lacer / actions” project, the colors of the street signs photographed by Roberto Alborghetti, professional journalist, author (he has published over 60 books) and trainer in meetings for teachers and students. The theme of the video inspired two major exhibitions, at the Rocca Aldobrandesca of Piancastagnaio, Siena in Tuscany, and at the Romanesque Baptistery of S. Giovanni in Lenno, Lake Como.

The reality that surrounds us as we have never seen it before: that one photographed on the walls of cities, in the cracks and colors of natural decomposition of the elements, like the paper of publicity posters. The “short film” is unpublished for the Net: it was created in 2015, on the occasion of the Lenno exhibition. It is made freely available to the public now, as a sign of hope for Italy and the whole world, in the wake of the words written by John : «And I saw a new sky and a new earth: the sky and the earth in fact had disappeared from the former land and the sea was gone “(Ap 21,1). The texts of John’s Apocalypse are in Italian, but taken from the Inter-confessional Bible; their numbering allows you to easily trace the versions of the different languages.

“E vidi un cielo nuovo e una terra nuova”. Un “corto” di 13 minuti. Un singolare viaggio tra alcuni passi dell’Apocalisse di Giovanni, riletti e commentati alla luce delle immagini del progetto “Lacer/azioni”, i cromatismi dei segni di strada fotografati da Roberto Alborghetti, giornalista professionista, autore di una sessantina tra saggi, biografie, libri-intervista, formatore (è anche direttore di Okay!). Il tema del video ha ispirato due grandi mostre, presso la Rocca Aldobrandesca di Piancastagnaio, Siena, e presso il Battistero Romanico di S.Giovanni a Lenno, Lago di Como.

La realtà che ci circonda come non l’abbiamo mai vista prima: quella fotografata sui muri delle città, nelle crepe e nei colori della decomposizione, come quelli della carta dei manifesti pubblicitari sui tabelloni. Il “corto” è inedito per la Rete: è stato creato nel 2015, in occasione della mostra di Lenno. E’ reso fruibile liberamente al pubblico ora, come segno di speranza per l’Italia e il mondo intero, nella scia delle parole scritte da Giovanni:  «E vidi un cielo nuovo e una terra nuova: il cielo e la terra di prima infatti erano scomparsi e il mare non c’era più» (Ap 21,1).
