Friends and fellow bloggers have asked me for information and characteristics of the image that is presented in the header of my site. It is a detail of a collage, not a painting. Alongside the macrophotographic shooting of corroded and decomposed materials, I like to compose works using the waste paper of torn advertising posters, which I often find along the streets, under the advertising billboards.

The title of the work presented here (also in the video) is “Lab-yrinth”: it offers the possibility of being traveled, with certain access and exit points. “Lab-yrinth” is made entirely of waste paper, selecting only black and white colors. Amici e colleghi bloggers mi hanno chiesto informazioni e caratteristiche dell’immagine che è presentata nella testata del mio sito. Si tratta di un particolare di un collage, non di un dipinto. Accanto alla ripresa macrofotografica dei materiali corrosi e decomposti, mi piace comporre lavori utilizzando la carta straccia dei manifesti pubblicitari strappati, che spesso trovo lungo le strade, sotto i tabelloni della pubblicità. Il titolo del lavoro qui presentato (anche nel video) è “Lab-irinto”: offre la possibilità di essere percorso, con determinati punti di accesso e di uscita.

“Lab-irinto” è fatto tutto di carta straccia, selezionando solo i colori bianco e nero. Misure: 49,8 x 35,0 centimetri.
