As part of the projects financed by “Sport e Salute” it was possible to create “Sogni, Brividi e Rotelle” (Dreams, Thrills and Skates) a book aimed particularly at the primary school age group but also at the lower secondary level.
It is a text that speaks, with adequate language, of the DREAMS of victory of a girl who loves skating and of a boy who loves skateboarding. Stories that revisit the story of the two Italian champions Gioia Fiori (figure skating) and Ale Mazara (skateboarding).
The two athletes, close to the big event for which they have prepared so much, retrace the great difficulties they had to overcome, sometimes with THRILLS, also having to deal with abuse and oppression. The positive approach, even towards themselves and a healthy relationship with those who accompanied them in their growth, will be the winning key!
A text, therefore, constantly “accompanied” by the experience on SKATES, which deals in a veiled way with very current issues that sometimes, and more and more often, put our girls and boys in crisis.
The initiative is in fact part of the federal project of policies to safeguard members and in particular minors.
The book was written by Roberto Alborghetti, an established author of children’s writing, and published exclusively for FISR by FUNTASY, which specifically deals with school publishing. The beautiful illustrations are by Eleonora Moretti.
Thousands of copies have already been distributed to the Regional Committees who, in turn, will take care of the distribution to the sports clubs who will deliver them to all their young affiliates.
