| Introducing Degard’s upcoming exhibition, Healing the Grief of The Holocaust, an uplifting exploration of ancestral bonds and the healing power of love. Revisiting themes from her prior show, Meeting My Ancestors Lost in the Holocaust, this new collection reshapes grief into a celebration of legacy and spirit. Join us on Holocaust Memorial Day, Saturday 27th January 2024, to light a candle and have a spirit portrait created of your ancestor. |
| As a companion show (and in collaboration with Ein Sof Gallery Islington) Degard will open a second exhibition on 8th January 2024, titled The Visionary Wall – Meeting My Ancestors Lost in the Holocaust. The gallery is connected to Chabad Lubavitch which is a community space dedicated to preserving Jewish traditions, fostering community engagement and promoting a deeper understanding of Jewish values and teachings. Tickets to Ein Sof are at the bottom of this email. |
| Both shows form an artistic response to Holocaust Memorial Day. Degard is attempting to bring healing for the Jewish community and all other communities at this current harrowing time of crisis in the Middle East.
